Senior Analyst, Data Management (Maintenance)
JOB PURPOSE
The jobholder is responsible to manage, follow-up and continuously improve the Maintenance Function's master and transactional data, using the industry best practices to enhance data accuracy, quality, and credibility, adding value to the end-users.
This role includes leading the efforts to monitor data quality and ensure compliance with data standardization and governance requirements issued by ADNOC, defining authorization options to enhance data security and integrity, and addressing areas of concern in transactional data quality and preventive maintenance master data integrity; developing procedures and guidelines to guarantee data accuracy, quality, and credibility, planning and developing user-friendly Maintenance-Data Source Dashboards, and ensuring the dashboards are well-consumed by end-users; preparing master data and system change reports, designing tools to support PMIS data validation, cleansing Maintenance Master Data, and providing first-line support for transactional data-related inquiries

Data Standardization / Compliance
- Monitor data quality and ensure compliance with data standardization and governance requirements issued by ADNOC, to maintain high standards and regulatory adherence.
- Define authorization options that limit end-user access to master data, reports, objects, and views based on roles and responsibilities, to enhance data security and integrity.
- Monitor transactional data quality and preventive maintenance master data integrity, addressing areas of concern and identifying opportunities for improvements, to ensure accurate and reliable maintenance data.
- Define and develop procedures and guidelines to guarantee the accuracy, quality, and credibility of master and transactional data in all Maintenance Function's systems, in accordance with ADNOC's requirements, to uphold data governance.
- Plan and develop a Maintenance-Data Source Dashboards to meet end-users’ expectations, ensuring that the dashboards are user-friendly and informative.
- Ensure data accuracy with the most recent figures/data presented on the Dashboard, to provide up-to-date and reliable information for decision-making.
Dashboard Design (Information / Content)
- Plan and develop a Maintenance-Data Source Dashboards to meet end-users’ expectations, ensuring that the dashboards are user-friendly and informative.
- Ensure data accuracy with the most recent figures/data presented on the Dashboard, to provide up-to-date and reliable information for decision-making.
- Ensure Dashboards are implemented and well-consumed by the end-users, to facilitate effective data visualization and analysis.
- Prepare master data and/or system change report to provide status updates and technical insights, supporting informed decision-making within the Maintenance Function.
- Design, build and implement a tool to support PMIS (Plant Maintenance Information System) data validation, updates, and correction, to maintain data accuracy and reliability.
- Cleanse Maintenance Master Data for better accuracy, to ensure that the data used in maintenance activities is precise and trustworthy.
- Monitor data quality and ensure compliance with data standardization and governance requirements issued by ADNOC, to maintain high standards and regulatory adherence.
Report Generating
- Prepare master data and/or system change report to provide status updates and technical insights, supporting informed decision-making within the Maintenance Function.
- Generate PM compliance report to track and ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules, promoting operational efficiency.
- Create technical reports to document system performance and maintenance activities, aiding in continuous improvement efforts.
- Develop status reports to keep stakeholders informed about project progress and any issues, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Compile any other report as required by the Maintenance Function management, to address specific informational needs and support strategic planning.
- Ensure reports are accurate and timely, to provide reliable data for analysis and decision-making.
Data Validation and Maintenance
- Design, build and implement a tool to support PMIS (Plant Maintenance Information System) data validation, updates, and correction, to maintain data accuracy and reliability.
- Cleanse Maintenance Master Data for better accuracy, to ensure that the data used in maintenance activities is precise and trustworthy.
- Create and maintain SAP PM Master Data such as functional locations, hierarchical structures, equipment, and more, to support effective maintenance management.
- Provide first line support for transactional data-related inquiries, including general troubleshooting for PMIS transactions, to ensure smooth operation and user satisfaction.
- Develop user guides and training manuals for dashboards and KPIs, to enhance usability and user understanding.
- Develop PMIS Reports’ documentation to assist end-users and stakeholders as an easy reference, to improve comprehension and utilization of reports.
User Support
- Develop user guides and training manuals for dashboards and KPIs, to enhance usability and user understanding.

- Gather user feedback to identify areas for improvement and address any issues, to enhance overall user experience.
- Ensure continuous support and updates for all users, to maintain high levels of satisfaction and system performance.
Data Management Improvement
- Identify opportunities for improvements in data accuracy, quality, and credibility, to enhance the reliability of maintenance data.
- Implement best practices for data management and maintenance, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with various departments to align data management practices with organizational goals, to support overall business objectives.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data management, to continuously improve processes and systems.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer engineering, or any equivalent qualifications.
- Fluency in English Language; written and oral.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years of total experience.
- Experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP PM and/ or QM modules, in data analytics, and/ or in other computerized maintenance management systems.
- Plant Maintenance Conceptual/Business Processes knowledge. i.e. Availability, Maintainability, Reliability, MTBF, MTTR.
- SAP PM Master Data of technical objects and PM Information System (PMIS), Maintenance processing, maintenance planning and work scheduling.
- Basic troubleshooting of SAP PM Application skills.
- Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Visio, Project & PowerPoint).
- Microsoft Programming for Applications (VBA), SharePoint, PowerApps, .Net.
- Excellent problem solving and a prominent level of analytical skills. i.e. Code Debugging.
- Expertise in generating Dashboard/KPI reports.
- Basic knowledge on SAP PM-integrated modules (MM, PS, HR, and FI).
