Team Leader, Digital Corporate & Analytics Solutions

JOB PURPOSE

 

Drive the digital corporate solutions portfolio for the Group Company while integrating cutting-edge technologies to achieve transformative business outcomes. Elevate the corporate solutions landscape and lead the planning, execution, and customization of digital corporate solutions and programs. Monitor and guide the team driving innovation, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making capabilities and positioning the organization as an industry leader in digital corporate solutions.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

Digital corporate solutions strategy development

  • Conduct competitive landscape analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the digital corporate solutions space.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify disparities between the present state of digital corporate solutions and the desired future state, to support strategic planning.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation within digital corporate applications.
  • Foster strategic partnerships and alliances with technology vendors and industry peers.

 

Adherence to HQ directives and ADNOC group policies:

  • Ensure the timely implementation and delivery of HQ directives and ADNOC Group policies within the digital corporate solutions function of the Group Company, including compliance with data privacy, security, and ethical standards.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with any jurisdictional regulations and compliances specific to the operational locality of the Group Company, in partnership with the business teams.
  • Continuously monitor HQ directives and relevant ADNOC Group policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance and update the digital landscape as necessary to align with these directives and policies.
  • Promptly report any non-conformities or deviations from the above to the Manager Digital & Analytics Solutions and VP Digital and collaborate on developing an appropriate and timely resolution plan.

 

Need identification:

  • Conduct business requirement and need identification analysis for digital corporate solutions by collaborating with business and cross-functional teams.
  • Suggest appropriate digital corporate solutions to the business based on evidence and analysis, to meet business requirements.

 

Digital corporate solution design:

  • Translate business requirements into design documents, to ensure alignment with leading practices, scalability, and security standards.
  • Recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and platforms for the proposed solution, and address design-related challenges.
  • Maintain version-controlled design documentation, collaborate with relevant stakeholders, and seek approvals before advancing with development.

 

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions Support:

  • Implement and manage the "One Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)" solution in the organization and design processes to provide Level-1 (L1) support for ERP related queries.
  • Ensure integration and consistency across ERP modules for non-interruption of business operations.

 

Administrative and audit applications:

  • Design, develop, and implement administrative and audit applications, ensuring compliance with organizational audit requirements and providing L1 support, collaborating with vendors for complex issues when needed.

 

Corporate functions solution management

 

  • Design and manage Human Capital-related applications to support talent management, recruitment, and Human Capital processes, while collaborating with Human Capital teams to adapt to evolving requirements and offering L1 support as necessary.
  • Implement and support supply chain and finance-related applications, including accounting, treasury, and financial reporting, demurrage, sales, and reporting, in collaboration with supply chain teams and finance teams, handling L1 support and guiding users for complex issues.
  • Implement and support Business support function-related applications, including Headcount, logistics, and reporting, in collaboration with Business support teams, handling L1 support and guiding users for complex issues.
  • Lead HC and financial reporting tasks and develop actionable insights and dashboards.
  • Implement and support communication function-related applications, including communication channels and reporting, in collaboration with communication teams, handling L1 support and guiding users for complex issues.

 

Application lifecycle management

 

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of in-house developed digital applications from conceptualization and design to deployment, maintenance, and eventual decommissioning.
  • Overseas the design, development and L1 support dashboards and reports to meet corporate analytics need and drive data driven decision making in powerBi.
  • Work with end-users to gather feedback and make continuous improvements to the digital applications, including troubleshooting issues, responding to user queries, and ensuring that applications evolve to meet changing business requirements.
  • Keep applications up to date by applying necessary patches and updates and proactively identifying enhancement opportunities.

 

Vendor-managed application support:

  • Establish effective communication channels with vendors to ensure digital applications meet their intended purpose and function seamlessly within the organization’s technical ecosystem.
  • Investigate and leverage advanced technologies like virtual reality to enhance user experiences and operational efficiency.
  • Design processes to provide Level-1 (L1) support to end-users.
  • Review Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with vendors and collaborate with them to ensure timely and effective resolutions of complex issues.

 

Release management and technical configuration

  • Monitor the release management process for digital corporate solutions, coordinating release schedules, conducting quality assurance, managing configuration, and monitoring performance.
  • Conduct risk assessments for software releases, identifying potential issues and mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
  • Gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and enhance the release management process.
  • Establish and maintain technical configuration standards for digital corporate applications to ensure consistency and reliability across different environments.
  • Implement automated configuration management tools and practices to streamline the deployment and maintenance of digital application configurations.

 

User training on digital corporate solutions

  • Identify training needs of end-users and ensure that training programs address learning requirements effectively.
  • Deliver engaging and informative training sessions, workshops, and materials, enabling end-users to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to use digital corporate solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support, resources, and scalability planning to empower users to continue learning, stay updated, and optimize their use of digital corporate solutions.

 

Vendor management for digital corporate solutions

  • Lead the selection of vendors and negotiate contracts, defining terms and SLAs to ensure partnerships are aligned with organizational goals.
  • Monitor vendor performance, resolve issues, and build strong vendor relationships through effective communication and collaboration, ensuring the delivery of quality services and solutions.

 

Troubleshooting

  • Identify and diagnose complex technical issues within digital corporate applications and systems, leveraging in-depth knowledge of application architecture and functionality.
  • Lead the troubleshooting process, utilizing advanced problem-solving skills to resolve issues effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors when necessary to ensure timely resolutions.

Audit support and audit findings resolution ownership

  • Support and shape the planning, execution, and reporting of audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Assess and prioritize areas for audit focus, considering business risks and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop action plans, implement corrective measures, and track progress towards resolution.
  • Conduct root cause analyses to identify underlying issues contributing to audit findings, enabling proactive problem-solving.
  • Guide and train team members and relevant stakeholders on audit best practices, compliance requirements, and effective resolution techniques.
  • Communicate audit results and progress to senior management and audit committees, ensuring transparency and accountability.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT engineering or equivalent.
  • 10 years of experience in solution development
  • 5 years in a managerial role in a major public sector or private-sector organization in the region.
