Manager, Market Development

About the Role:

Provide assistance in developing and marketing activities in sub-regional market which are aligned with
Borouge Pte Strategy to meet PTE business targets. Understand market trends and customer needs, give
feedback to Borouge PTE to facilitate development of long term strategies by PTE.

This position is based in Delhi, India

Key Accountabilities:
Market Development Planning and Implementation

• Develop, propose and deliver agreed market development plan to optimize PTE customer and product mix
• Deliver accurate operational planning and forecasting to meet PTE customer needs and optimize internal operations
• Identify and develop opportunities to grow business unit/country strategy as defined by Borouge PTE
• Manage market development activities to meet agreed PTE business targets
• Translate PTE strategies into define projects approved by PTE
• Collaborate with the PTE Marketing function in developing and implementing of regional marketing strategize for e.g. provide support to and facilitate marketing activities within the region responsible

People

• Provide information on segments, customers and suppliers

Customer Relationship

• Build and maintain PTE customer relationships to strengthen the commercial position of Borouge PTE
• Co-ordinate activities at major PTE customers to optimize business in alignment with overall strategy
• Manage market development activities to meet Borouge PTE Business target and ensure continuity
• Maintain relation with key local industrial bodies and associations to facilitate better understanding of the market and maintain relationship with key PTE customers
• Manage cross-functional activities and relationships with Customer Service to ensurethat standard Service levels are observed and efficiency maximized aligned withBorouge PTE needs

About You:

• Graduates in Chemical Engineering/Polymers is preferred
• Possess more than 10 years of Market Development / Sales / Marketing experience in petrochemical / Polymer Industry
• Experience in infrastructure and energy sector will be a plus
